HOW?

The 12GB 3060 seems to be one of the most stable GPUs actually. Not that all of them will be with the game.

If you're running a GPU overclock, disable and run it stock.
Also play within spec of the vRAM. You can exceed the 12GB amount a little bit but only if you have 32GB or more of RAM. Otherwise, stay under that. If you have the 8GB 3060, don't even bother going slightly over the 8GB limit, there's just issues with 8GB vRAM (both caused by the game and caused by nVidia's 531.41 driver).

And I have mine paired with a 5800X CPU on 48GB system RAM for reference.

I had no problems with 3060 12GB, however if you have cpu with less than 8 physical cores, that could be a problem from my experience.

First, make sure you are using a wired mouse (and keyboard). Then in the options of the game there is a mouse setting called Raw Mouse Input (Options > Controls) make sure it is on.

Also disable any Camera/Aim/Lock-on assist.

To be double safe go into the Windws settings and make sure mouse acceleration is turned off. While there, turn xbox game bar off as well.

Issues with high CPU usage and frametime can be reduced by capping the FPS at 60.

For the settings not mentioned in the video have:
Dynamic Objects Level of Detail - High
Characters Level of Detail - High
Environments Level of Detail - High
Dynamic Objects Texture Quality - High
Characters Texture Quality - High
Environments Texture Quality - High
Visual Effects Texture Quality - Low

For the rest see and use the setting in the video:

And even if mentioned, just turn Motion blur and Camera shake off. This will help with the perceived lag if nothing else. And I would not use any DLSS as there is just smearing when moving.

have a 3060 with 12gb vram and also very curious if it will run well enough since the port isnt well received. got 32gb ram too, so this may help. maybe give it a try in a few days once more patches have been out.

What CPU are you using? For me it runs well on a 3060 with 12gb VRAM paired with a Ryzen 5 2600X, probably averaged around 50-60 fps on ultra settings with DLSS Quality. Some lag in late game areas, zero crashes. Not perfect, but playable.
and for 6Gb rtx 3060? Does anyone has tested it?

Mines a RTX3060 12Gb with 32Gb 2666MHz RAM and runs fine.

RTX 3060 12gb
Ryzen 7 3700x
32gb ram
-All settings on Ultra/high on 1440p with DLSS on Quality
-Didnt have a single crash, after 30h of playtime
-Fps range from 50-90 with avg around 60-70 depending on environment
-some occasional stutters and ''mouse jittering'' had me forced to play with controller
