Color banding and flashing issues.

This game has some type of color banding issue and game flashes everytime when you move. Those issues are the only issues I have, and I hope they can be fixed through a patch because I have no idea on how to fix them.
I have a 12700k, 7900xtx, and 32gb ddr5.

A 2020 Vizio p series uhdtv that has freesync premium, and I turned it off for this game in the AMD gpu settings but issues are still there. I have only seen the flashing issue in two other games and turning off freesync in the AMD gpu settings worked for those games but not this game.

You might have some TV bound settings enabled that are modifying how your image is being displayed.

Only affected 3 games, and besides this game it doesn’t happen anymore. I’m thinking it the game, because I don’t have this issue with anything else.

It's impacting multiple games. Not all games use the same rendering techniques and will have the same degree of final image quality before it even hits the display. You're running a TV and TVs are known to add their own types of scaling, color adjustments and contrast balancing. Sometimes these settings make color gradients and banding a lot more noticeable as a result.

Without going through your TV and disabling and changing settings, you won't be able to indicate whether this actually is a game problem. So you gotta troubleshoot to isolate where the issue actually is and it does sound a lot like a TV display feature at play.

The game doesn't experience non of the things you mention at all.

Digital Foundry on Youtube has color banding as well in their video. So no it isn't a "you problem".

I think that was due to the encoder that was capturing the game streams. The PS5 in person doesn't have that same color banding unless you're playing on a TV with how the TV settings are configured.

I can even make color banding an issue on my LG monitors I'm using just by changing the display mode on the monitor.
