Multiplayer???

Sorry if this has been answered, I did a search and only looked at the first page of results and didn't find anything useful at all, so I didn't bother looking through the rest. Yes, I'm lazy af, but at least I'm honest about it :D

Anyway, where is our multiplayer mode?? I loved playing that back on the PS3/4. It was an excellently done multiplayer system in terms of progression and mechanics, not to mention fun as hell. Why wasn't it ported on to PC with this release? Are there plans to release multiplayer in the near future?

I can't remember exactly, but when TLOU came out wasn't it originally single player only with the multiplayer being released as an add-on sometime after launch? If that's the case, will that happen here?

I know that lol, which is why I'm asking if there's a plan to add it in the future at all. I read 'somewhere' a few days ago (can't recall where though, unfortunately) that it's going to be added in 2024. Is that true?

This is remastered from the PS5 which also did not have Multiplayer. They are making a seperate stand alone game for multiplayer later on.
