Game runs great on my outdated PC

I'm getting getting almost 100fps on my now outdated 5800X3D 32GB RTX 3090Ti.

For me BEST SETTINGS for any game are always ultra (I have high-end system) Anything less then that should not be acceptable even Ultra should be fine to 3080/3090 so it is game's fault for not running seamless ultra on 3000 series - Everyone wants to play with nice visuals, it last of us, runs fine on PS5 on ultra. so shame on devs for shaiting on us PC gamers..........

PS5 visuals aren't using ultra settings its closer to high.

PS5 is better than your PC, i mean if your PC is crashing on a PS4 Game then that just proves it

The game is not particularly well optimized, that much is clear. However, people underestimate the fact that pure graphics card performance is useless if there is a bottleneck. The bottleneck for the RTX3080 is not the raw performance, but the lack of memory. With an RTX3080, it is not possible to play The Last of Us Part I smoothly on Ultra settings. Even on FullHD, there are problems. The same applies to all other AAA titles that have been released this year.

The thing is that TLOU on PC has Playstation 3 and even less more like Playstation 1-2 quality textures if the game is set to medium, that is unacceptable. I mean 8 GB V-RAM are still 8 GB V-RAM a game can't look like this, if it's played on hardware that is only like 4-5 years old.

I mean just look at the textures on medium, it's ridiculous that it has been released like this. I can play the game with high preset with my RTX 3080 and it's okay. But the optimization is total garbage, i have to wait for patches, like most ppl do.

This is the worst port i have EVER seen. This needs to get fixed ASAP.

come back when you have upgraded to the 4090

Only the best Ti-class card would be good enough to replace my current GPU.

Nah, the lowly 4090 does avarage 100fps at 5120x1440 max settings, thats 2x the res of 1440p. No need to wait for the 4090 ti, the future is now!
