why is it part one and why japanese only?

as title, but to explain my questions:

On playstation it is the FULL game Last of us *1* and last of us *2* no *PARTS* but sequels ...

And why japanese only ? PS version is full english...

Nice try... no wonder its very mixed - if PS can do it, steam can too - or are they 100% seperate games?

thanks for the clarification but i sware it was *Last of US* and *Last of Us 2* but if not i stand corrected and thank you, but why japanese only when PS5 was English all the way (at least the english version was)

Yes it was without "Part" until PS5 was released and they started working on Part 1 using the TLoU2 engine

Lol, its not "only in Japanese". The Japanese translation is only available to those in Japan.

well when the store page says *UI is japanese only and voice over is japanese only* who do i beleive? you or an OFFICIAL source?

This game only supports Japanese interface/voice for customers in JAPAN.

then thats on me... i didn't not see the Japan part, but now i do... it was a case of - every time a game says *WARNING* or *NOTE* and it tells you xyz i never read the end of it because of that info... so should it say *Note: to customers in Japan* rather than at the end?

Quote right from the store page: "Notice: This game only supports Japanese interface/voice for customers in Japan."

When you have a Japanese Steam account, the game is only available in Japanese for whatever reason. It's not only available in Japanese language for international customers.
