I enable custom timer resolution and set wanted timer resolution to 0.5. I then set "the list size is at least" to 1024 and "free memory is lower than" to 8196.

Unfortunately, the link provided by the author of the video is no longer working. But little do I care...for my computer this solution has been the best so far...if you don't even want to try it that's your problem!
