DualSense adaptive triggers problem?

Guys, I have a dualsense and I connected it directly to my steam, but the game leaves the adaptive triggers option locked. I tried everything, I used the cable on the controller, I tried opening the game in big picture mode, but nothing works!!! Help please!!!

By any chance have you updated your Dualsense's firmware recently?

Believe me, you don't wanna use this game's adaptive triggers. It puts way too much resistance on them and feels weird, especially when you aim. There shouldn't be any resistance on the aiming trigger.

Ehh it's not much resistance. If it was a multiplayer game like Call of Duty you'd have a point, but for single player the adaptive triggers are fun. Having played and Platinumed Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart on my PS5, the adaptive triggers gave the guns extra kick and made them even more satisfying to use as a result.

yes, i did it when i boght DSX

I had the same issue here. In my case, it was caused due to steam input was enabled in game Steam controller settings. Also, make sure that you have controller emulation set to "Off" in DSX.

at first mine also didn't work but then i turned off the steam input and its working now.

Steam is weird and to make PS5 controller to work you must switch ps5 controller support OFF in steam settings. None should be ticked. Very counter intuitive.
