windows 10 . rx 6600 , fx 8320 - 4mhz . 16 g of RAM , the game is installed on the SSD.

Well, yes, when you have all the games going with a bang. And only in this game such problems. Of course, the processor is to blame.This is not an answer, this is your excuse

my friend has that same processor, it is on ddr3 memory i bleive, which is too slow for high end game.

OK, then why do I have Resident Evil 4 Remake,Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3 (2023) going without problems? And only in this game such problems ?

my friend, I have an rtx 3090 and ryzen 7 processor, the same thing happens to me every 2 3 minutes, please wait, one of the mistakes of this game is that they will fix it with an update soon, don't worry.

this game needs AVX2 instructions which doesn't exist on that platform, and DDR3.... texture thrashing on that bandwith must be insane.

Not to mention that the lack of Direct Storage means that the CPU is working overtime to unpack and stream data to the GPU, the game in its current state demands a powerful CPU.

5800x3d, 6700xt, 32gb RAM and game is installed on a samsung 970 nvme.
After about an hour of "building shaders" there were like 10 moments with PLEASE WAIT.. for at least 3-4 minutes each.
"Best" part: if you die shortly after PLEASE WAIT.. the game reloads the scene and guess what I had to wait for 3-4 minutes again. All in all the game was not worth it. I don't get the hype. This is a crappy PC port of a 10 year PS3 game.
Not much you can do. At minimum another Patch is needed to solve shader building crap / frame drops / stutte fest and of course PLEASE WAIT...
