Performance of RTX 3060 12 GB VRam
To the owners of a RTX 3060 with 12 GB VRam: How are performance and FPS in Full HD? Can you set everything on ultra settings? Do you have any experience with stutters?
I use a RTX 3060 Ti with 8 GB VRam and can only play on high settings with nearly 8 GB VRam usage and 60+ FPS. I would like to have a comparision between the two mentioned cards.

My friend got one, played with 1800P ( NIS ) @ DLSS Balanced @ Ultra Textures + High~Ultra Settings. Got FPS between 50 to 60.
This game is VRAM Hungry. 3060 got 12GB, while ti and 70 series , even 3080 have to keep textures at Medium or Low for 1440P or above. The irony, lol.

As I said in other threads, the game is fine for me. 4K resolution and dlss in quality mode keep frame rates between 50/60. The ultra setting with 1080p resolution with dlss in quality mode got frame rates between 90/110.
Note: The game consumes 9GB of Vram in 1080p and 11GB of Vram in 4K.

Good info. I knew my 3h+ troubleshooting were not a waste.

3060ti, 1440p, all in high with some ultra like character textures, only view distance, dof and volumetric on medium. Fps from 60 to 90.

And I still think its improvable, managed to remove input lag with mouse view, but theres still some drops, and ofc avg fps are around 60 most of times.

But yeah, thats miles beyond the performance you mention.

Ofc I never brute forced games with crazy hardware, but always gone mad learning and trying every optimization tweak in existence.

Im sure its even an exaggeration, and some knowledgeable players with 3080+ are getting my performances and better, but yeah, with such a bad port...tweaks work better than brute forcing with high end hardware.

Ps: my profile should have many screens proofing this, as my 3070ti mate, with his 27 fps, struggled to believe me, haha.

Ofc, he didnt tinker with game options, and even less anything like the manual update of oodle or the other 16-20 tweaks I have applied xd

No, the game like many make us of all vram and ram available, even if un needed.

To start with, it reserves a fake amount of vram for os and apps, thats 4x the real vram used if you check with process explorer for example.

Then, idk if its speed related, by like every other graphic intensive game (darktide, sons of the forest, atomic heart, diablo 4) my 16gb ram at 3200 never get fully used. so no stutter or microstutter due to ram being capped.

Like gpu always at 99% with high temps, without any bad performance.

But its true and I believe as its been widely reported, games with same settings like mine, eating much more beyond 16gb ram. But not running specially better than with 16, just making use of all they can get.

Engine issues, mem leaks? Im not that knowledgeable at this point.

3080ti here, ran 1920x1080 60fps everything on high today ran for 4 hours and finally had same crash. getting better though, not crashing every few minutes.

Fought like hell to get through shaders but it's working surprisingly well for me now... rendering at 1440p upscale to 2160p on mostly ultra settings. Only gets around 50fps but that's fine for me as monitor is only 60hz anyways.
