Recommended specs.
I need your opinion people. When a game says it recommends certain hardware/software and you have that part covered, do you expect to play that game in highest possible settings or are you ok with tweaking settings so some are high, some are mid or low? This isn't another "bashing ND" post, I just want to know. Because wouldn't you expect to play that game in a decent state and experience all it has to offer visually and have decent fps also?

Those recommended specs are obviously a joke. Unless they recommend to play the game in Low settings of course...

Any modern GPU with 16GB+ of VRAM will do.

Any modern GPU with 16GB+ of VRAM will do.

I may upgrade to rx 6800 xt as it's same performance of 3080 but 16 GB or Vram. I may stop using NVIDIA in the future.

i have an rtx 3080. never had any issues playing any game on ultra except for this game.

I do play at 4k, but my 3080 had a heart attack on Breakpoint, Far Cry 6 and Hogwarts Legacy, if it had 16gb it'd run them perfectly fine, it is definitely an issue when some games it gets outperformed by the 3060.

Most new nVidia cards have 16 and more GB of VRAM. But rx 6800 xt is a great relatively cheap GPU, so it's not a bad decision at all.

This game is simply not optimized for PCs. They really need to sort out somehow the VRAM overallocations while keeping the textures detailed. Not sure if possible, tho... after all game is designed for PS5 hardware.

No. "Recommended" means medium settings. You have midtier hardware, you get a midtier experience.

But it also ridiculous that nvidia gave only 10GB of VRAM for such expensive GPU. It will soon make problems for other games as well.

I wouldn't call blurry textures that you get with medium settings a "midtier experience".

But how does that make any sense? Than it should be stated as : "If you want mediocre experince have this , if you want full experience have that". Would you recommend irl to use mediocre tools for some job with possibility that they will not perform properly or would you recommend the best ones that will do the proper job?

Playing this game on medium settings is kinda bleh. It is a beautiful game, and seems sort of wasteful to play it like that...

the "recommended" specs were supposed to get the game playing at 1080p60 on high settings, they just weren't able to deliver.

Currently it's recommended to NOT buy this game.

They have posted the exact requirements, settings and expected frames before the release of the game. They are quite accurate actually. So you are expected to play the game as per the requirement posted:
