with the way this game runs rn i doubt it

Unlikely, Medium textures will use all 8gb of your 3070 Ti's VRAM. High uses 10+gb. Ultra uses 12-16gb.

Add on things like shadows, detailed meshes, etc, and it's pretty much impossible to play Ultra smoothly unless you have a 4090.

Ultra settings take 13gb+ VRAM so that will likely be a limiting factor.

You don't need a 4090 for FHD Ultra, I played at 100 FPS+ most of the time with a 7900 XT.

Yeah it's a VRam hog you'll have to turn down some settings...
countingcorn 30/mar./2023 às 12:34
nope. need to set them to mid and some low just to maintain 60-80fps(1440p). CPU - 5800x3d.

According to this benchmark you should get over 100fps at 1080p ultra

Yesterday i've been testing with the same GPU and @1080p i don't know but at 1440p with Dlss in quality preset the answer is NO. BUT the game have a lot of options, so i'm pretty sure even at 1440p almost all ultra will be fine. I have to test it more deeply.

It'll run it but it'll interrupt your experience every time it uses CPU RAM for extra GPU RAM which will be a lot. Although I first ran this game off of an old, giant harddrive and the game ran about the same as it is now running off my samsung nvme drive. So the interrupts might not be incredibly dire with delayed reads/rights, but not ideal.

I made a ♥♥♥♥ comparison:

https://technical.city/en/video/TITAN-RTX-vs-GeForce-RTX-3070-Ti

I ran all on ultra, with 1440p render resolution and DLSS quality to get 4K.
Cannot maintain 60 FPS, but it still performs nice.
No bad stutter and no crashes.

The only issue is, that even if a 3070 ti appears to perform slightly better in games than mine, I have 24 GB VRAM and the game only uses 9 (while it says the OS and apps use over 4), so I come to a total of almost 15 GB VRAM usage of 24.

This might be the biggest issue, as the 3070 ti only has 8 GB.

Normally VRAM isn't the main culprit for crashes (but for bad performance and textures loading in an awful state, like bad graphical issues if there is no VRAM left), but apparently here it is.

So I doubt you will get a good experience out of it, according to the many reports here of people with the recommended specs.

Some said they can run the game fine on a 3080, but then again, I haven't asked which graphic preset they use.

All on ultra? :O

Running 60-100 fps 1440p all on ultra. Before the latest patches it was way more choppier, but now everything is smooth as butter. RTX 3070 TI, I7-10700K, 32GB RAM. DLSS obv on.

Actually at "full HD" meaning 1080p i think you will be ok.
im on a 3080 with a 12700k with 32gb of RAM and an m.2 nvme and i have everything at ultra at 1440p with no DLSS or FSR and for the most part im in the high 60's highest is 100 plus, lowest is 45 for very brief moments. Not perfect but mostly playable.
