Nvidia have acknowledged the crashes on 30 Series GPUs
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/514764/geforce-grd-53141-feedback-thread-released-32323/

This agrees with what I've personally seen - my PC with a 40 series card doesn't crash, but my wife's with a 30 series card does crash

The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video3
Error occurred on GPUID: 2d00

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
Driver issue, Nvidia needs to fix it.
Check Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events for the time of your crashes to check if you're getting an error

Check Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events for the time of your crashes to check if you're getting an error

that's pretty much the usual crypric Windows error message for a crashed driver.

Maybe, but it's also the same event people get on various Nvidia GPUs especially 3000 and some 4000 series. If you follow the links you can see that some users were able to get Nvidia to reproduce the issue, and that's why it's on the Game-Ready Drivers Issues list now. If you're affected you can easily trigger it by running OCCT VRAM test at 95% VRAM and ending it after 5 seconds or so. Event Viewer will show that same exact error.
