From this thread https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/514764/geforce-grd-53141-feedback-thread-released-32323/
Edit: Also you can try sending crash dmps for those games as described a couple posts above by Manuel @ Nvidia
Manuel, whats the official driver for last of us part 1 for? did Nvidia tested the driver before releasing to public?
"This new Game Ready Driver provides the best day-0 gaming experience for the latest new games including the open beta for Diablo IV featuring NVIDIA DLSS 2 technology. Further support for new titles leveraging DLSS 2 technology include The Last of Us Part I,"
Im speechless, i never seen an official driver for a specific game, crashing the driver, to the point of freezing the image and rebooting the gpu
Does this crashes damage the gpu? i wonder...
If the crashes causes damage maybe Sony / Naughty Dog / Nvidia should be sued
Its been more than two weeks, hotfix installed, still crashing randomly with a 3080 16GB VRAM
Isn't that the point of a crash? To prevent hardware damage not create it.
Go on then, you go and sue them, I'll wait here, you let me know how it went.
If i was a billionaire with lots of free time, i would do it
They sold a broken game, they didnt send review codes to journalists, they knew about it
And nvidia released a broken driver that was supposed to be optimized for this game...
Had this problem still happening as of today lol, and it happens across multiple games too, have the newest version of the driver installed and everything. I kinda want to just switch to an AMD card at this point
I've only been playing Witcher 3 lately on latest drivers 531.68, but did have a rare crash with the same event that logged nvlddmkm 2x in a row. I do have my GPU slightly undervolted/OC'd and the event is the same as you would get from an unstable gpu overclock. It had been stable for a long time though so it seems to be a driver problem to me.
Also these are still open issues on latest drivers, could be related:
I am suffering from this issue too (I got a 1070Ti) and i wonder if those drivers fixed it for you?
Im currently on the newest driver (536.23) and im still having those issues :/
my driver would crash any time i stream for a little , playing apex legends on steam , valorant or league of legends
even OW2
would need some help about it
