JOEL CANNOT SPRINT OR RUN

i cant sprint or run with joel at the very beginning of the game, game keeps showing me keyboard keys instead of dual sense buttons icons even though i have it connected, and playing and moving with it

You cannot sprint/run until you get to chapter the qurantine zone and get the tutorial about and it unlocks.

yo i mean i know i cant sprint on start i mean he can move faster if u press l shift or l1 on controller, i dosent work and i keep dying while carryng sara.

You can choose the symbols of the controller you use in the settings. The game first showed Playstation controller symbols for me, but i use a X-Box Series S|X controller.

the problems got solved disconnecting the controler and restarting the game, and then playing without the controller

I found the real problem, it was my Bluetooth earbuds sony wf-1000xm4, i will have to play without them

it was like keyboard and dualsense were constantily trying to take control of the game and the icons were constantly swaping, and if wouldnt let the character move faster he was literally slow walking

you have to enter the game and try not to press any keyboard key, ever, if you press one key the problem return and you will have to close and relaunch the game.
