Remaster = graphics updated
Remake = Everything new, new engine, re-coded the whole game from 0.
Uh, it is a new Engine. Even though its done and made in house by ND. Its still newer of course due to all the new tech side of things added to the game.

I didnt have any performance issues playing at 1440p with everything at max and locked at 60FPS, but if you are trying to play this game on a low tier PC with only a 6 core CPU and Ultra settings, yea, its not going to work well for you.
I guess you had to lower your graphic settings so much in order to play. I can see now why you are complaining about it not looking like a remake, and why you are only calling it a remaster. Looks like its time for you to upgrade.
