CD keys has it for £20!
Y'all need to stop lying and calling this game a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "Remake" I never would call this game a "Remake" because I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I did. You want to play a REAL remake, play RE4 (2023), RE2 (2019), FF7 (2020) just to name a few examples of games that ACTUALLY are remakes, They have changed the game mechanically and improved on an older formula that each of these games honestly can still hold up even their older versions AS WELL as make them look so much prettier and re-imagined from the ground up. But TLOU 1 "Remake" isn't worth it's asking price, Yeah, it looks pretty, you'd have to be blind both physically and mentally to not see that. But at the cost of crap performance unless you bump it down to certain settings (Unless your computer was made by NASA). But the game changes absolutely nothing mechanically, It just stole things from the second game such as it's accessibility options (which I'm always down for), The Workbench animations (Which I would've liked to not have them at all, all it does is pad out the gametime) and It doesn't even attempt to try bringing the prone feature from TLOU 2 in the game, if you wanted it to be a real remake, at least add sequences that would have been interesting or make them work in the confines of your game. This game is what I would call more of a Remaster+ and that is it. It doesn't add anything exciting to the game plus the multiplayer is absent, The only way you SHOULD buy this game is when it is on sale. And YES I do own it, so you can't be one like of those fairy developers that like to say "Ohh well if you haven't held the controller and played it for yourself you have no say" Guess what? Everyone did... 11 Freaking Years Ago. If you played it then, you have already played this remake. My suggestion? Get yourself a PS4 or PS4 Pro and grab the Remastered version the game is cheaper, and you also have more options on PS4 that aren't on PC *Cough* Bloodborne.
Also if you are going to buy this remake in the future, use this guide if you are having Performance Issues, Because no matter what computer you have, you probably will. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3120490470

People dont understand the difference between remake and remaster. This is a lazy remaster and NOT a remake.

Remaster = graphics updated
Remake = Everything new, new engine, re-coded the whole game from 0.

it doesn't matter what you call it, it's a remake, it's fact, and no amount of walls of text is gonna change it

Uh, it is a new Engine. Even though its done and made in house by ND. Its still newer of course due to all the new tech side of things added to the game. :steamfacepalm:

This video shows a clear difference on why its a remake.

I didnt have any performance issues playing at 1440p with everything at max and locked at 60FPS, but if you are trying to play this game on a low tier PC with only a 6 core CPU and Ultra settings, yea, its not going to work well for you.

I guess you had to lower your graphic settings so much in order to play. I can see now why you are complaining about it not looking like a remake, and why you are only calling it a remaster. Looks like its time for you to upgrade.

You are the problem with gaming community and why games are getting so expensive.
just get it on a non PC platform. this port sucks so much. you'll save yourself a headache and probably get a better deal. especially secondhand.
