DLSS/DLAA 3.1.2 has unbearable ghosting here
Partially fixed by manually using the latest version of upscaler + preset C. Preset K (transformer) looks terriblly oversharpened. Default 3.1.2 is a horrible smudgy mess in motion.

DLAA does that, running the game without it fixes the issue.
hmmhmm... dlaa is only using the frame that is present. if you run it without it aka native you get taa that is motion compensated. that usually still has some artefacts from motion disocclusion but naughty dog's implementation looks pretty damn stable.

Do you see any tremors in the grass in Preset K? I have it too ?

Nope. K just looks oversharpened. Like if there was a forced sharpening filter over TAA. Actually K is the most stable. C/E/F all flicker on certain textures. K looks like aggressive blurry TAA + sharpening
If you force DLSS 4 thru driver it does a great job mitigated the flicker, but not sure how it works on ghosting. Just from the brief videos I have seen online.

Give that a try and see if it helps. Just dont force FG or use MFG.

When you mention C, E, F, and just talking presets. It led me to believe you using DLSSTweaks/Swapper. Which is not done thru driver and by NVIDIA App when forcing DLSS 4.

As the videos I have seen when comparing 4 to 3. It looks much better, and doesnt seem to be over sharpened or blurry at all.

However, IMO the game really doesnt need DLSS. Especially when DLSS has quality issues still. Whenever someone uses it they complain about ghosting/flicker almost all the time, and than complain the game lacks performance when they dont use.

This game has well over 40 settings to adjust quality/performance. So you can get the game to look good with the FPS you are happy with. You really shouldnt need to rely on any DLSS/FSR setting.

If you do, than it may be time to start looking for better hardware to support the frames at the settings and resolution you are happy with. Instead of trying to use cheap AI software that still cant cut it.

Lastly, see this thread with others using DLSS 4 thru driver:

How many fps does DLSS 4 take? Because there is not much in the game :)
