Well, are you sure it is crashing about the GPU?

Is it a driver timeout? Does it happen randomly or at the same spot always? Settings?

Yes because the amd error comes up

It’s not the same point every time

Everything max
4K
FSR 3
Frame gen

Ok. As far as I can say that should not happen :).

Assuming temps of the GPU and the drivers are fine you can try with an FPS limit perhaps/disablig framegen for testing. Also: Is the GPU now completely "vanilla" for everything (factory settings)? Do you undervolt? What GPU model is it?

Sometimes factory OC models clock a bit too high for some games liking and then the driver might give up :). Memory OC on the GPU? All should be standard for proper testing.

I had a fps limit on it anyway to 141 cause I have freesync on
I didn’t think of turning frame gen off not sure why that would be the case

No I don’t undervolt
The only thing I changed was the power limit to max
I have a sapphire nitro +

If that was the case then I can’t understand why it hasn’t done that to every game I’ve played yet so far

What does the error say?

Have you tried DDU?

Before you install the GPU driver, make sure to run DDU. I would recommend to just install the driver only. Dont install adrenalin software.

Running DDU will remove previous driver/s completely and ensure a clean install. Like its being done for the first time on a newly installed OS. Just note that all control panel (app)/monitor settings will be reset and whenever you update the display driver the shaders will recompile for this game and others.

Here is link for DDU. Make sure to read/follow guide if unfamiliar. Its in the link. https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5210

Once DDU is done and PC rebooted in normal boot. Install display driver. Reboot after it installs successfully. Even if not prompted.

Keep it at 100%. This could cause instability with some games. Especially if its boosting past the pre-defined boost clock of 2565 MHz.

so the error says

something went wrong with this game i get that first

then i get a another error with amd saying amd software detected that a driver timeout has occurred on your system

i will give ddu i ago but if thats the fix what can do i about adrenlian software cause i use that to set up freesync and fan curves

Well, driver timeout is obvious driver issue.

Try DDU and install with Adrenalin than. See if it helps. Just keep all settings at default and try the game

Ah, ok so clean install in your first post meant something actually not "clean". Using something like DDU (the best software for this) is essential when encountering driver issues for a really clean installation of new drivers.

Enjoy!
