PS5 controller purple glow
I have a purple glow whenever i'm in-game (but not in menu) from my PS5 controller. Enabling steam input disables this, but this also disables haptic feedback etc. Is there any way to disable this without enabling steam input? Disabling RGB in settings does not work.

The touchpad light strip on the DualSense controller should glow green or red when you are in-game, to indicate Joel’s health status when it is natively controlled by the game instead of Steam Input.

Have you disabled the Speakers (DualSense Wireless Controller) audio device in your Windows sound settings by any chance? I think that may be the cause of you not getting haptic feedback if Steam Input is disabled.

I’ve tested it just now and got haptic feedback with the DualSense being natively controlled by the game with Steam Input disabled and the audio device being enabled.

Also you might want to download the official PlayStation Accessories app (formally called Firmware updater for DualSense wireless controller) from Sony to update your DualSense firmware if you haven’t already unless you already have a PS5.

I had previously tested it only during the start of the game, where you control Sarah. It glows pink during this section. Testing it where you control Joel, it does indeed glow green. However, i don't like this. Is there any way to disable glow from the PS5 controller without also disabling haptic feedback, etc?

I believe that it is intended behavior set by the developers when the DualSense is natively by the game I've looked through the game options and I don't seem to find an option to turn it off. [The setting Enable LED device affects only affects KB+M devices made by Razer and Corsair I believe. ]
