can i do collectibles from chapter replay and get all the achivements?

Yes. Just know there is a workaround that needs to be done. When replaying a chapter and you go back. You will lose any progress after the last chapter played. So if you replay Pittsburgh, any chapter after will not be there.

But do not worry. As the game has separate saves for collectibles, and story progress.

So make sure you dont overwrite your very last save. So when you replay a chapter, and get the collectible. The collectible will be saved, and you can safely re-load your original save. Unlocking all the chapters again and you will see the collectible will read as 6/6 or whatever it is you need.

To note. For the "That's All I Got" achievement. The achievement description is wrong. There are 6 jokes, not 3. It may glitch for chapter select. I did this on another whole playthrough.

i figured out that if i do a chapter replay, collect the thing that i need and then load the main save, it will appear there. is this good?

to add to this. iirc the pittsburgh library and the suburbs definetely has no fixed location. but they could trigger anywhere in the map or room when the condition for the trigger is met. so you should keep an eye on ellie or listen to the ping. i triggered the library one on the stairs next to the entry once. and the suburbs one is a lil fiddly but you should get it done with a bit of rng.
