On nvidia App chose the game compatlble with DLSS, when available in super resolution, frame generation and ray reconstruction chose "latest" and the magic is done!
Do i need to have super resolution on in the in game settings? or gotta be DLAA? the only one i can change to latest is the super resolution, ray reconstruction is greyed out for me.
It's your choice, i'am using DLAA for more definition, DLSS 4 is great as well, they both are amazing in this new updated version. TLOU Part 1 don't have ray reconstruction!
DLSS however is still not ghosting free. Less base frame rate you have less frame data can DLSS work with and introduces artifacts. Aka at least 60 fps base framerate is needed for improved image. More the better
Eh?
DLAA gives me insane ghosting. Like the agents bullet-dodging from the matrix when turning the camera. Especially in the rain.
Cranking up the sharpness gave marginal effect at best. FSR native AA had none of that though
Update the DLSS/DLAA via Nvidia App, there is no ghosting anymore and the definition was insanelly increased with the update, and sharpness is always 0, this guy is trolling
I actually didnt noticed it that much until that first rainy-part, then it went insane for some reason. Never ever seen it ghosting like that. Switched around some, was not satisified with standard but settled with fsr aa which looked decent enough.
Other than that I have found a spot now where I am satisified with the perfomance & looks, without DLSS btw (if I dont absolutly have to I go without it), with my old stuff I have to comprosie a bit to even reach stable 60 fps in 1080p
With said old ass hardware new updates usually tend to brake stuff rather than fixing it since its not the intended hardware for them anymore, so I usually just updates whenever a specific game-related driver rolls around
Its not ghosting free but better than DLSS. And if you have too much sharpness it will make ghosting feel worse. Also depends on game engine and implementation of DLAA. I have seen games that look like crap with it and also games that have done it properly.
Objects with high contrast difference to background tend to bring ghosting out more. Like white cross hair on dark backdrop.
What are you on. Without sharpness its blurry mess. Then again if you want your image less crisp, feel free. You must be the person that has motion blur and DoF enabled also.
Before the update DLAA and DLSS was a pure garbage with a lot of ghosting and smearing, after the update DLAA works like a charm, clean and beautiful. DLAA and DLSS is basically the same thing, use AI to upscale and the for anti-aliasing. Simple as that. If u update the DLSS, DLAA will be updated as well...
