I didn't change any hardware so I think it might have something to do with the latest update (January 24th 2025).
I'll try to verify my files and tell you if it worked.
Tried to customize my Vram - nothing.
Rolled my GPU driver back to 556.12 - nothing.
Tried a simple solution like a forcestart with -dx11 - nothing.
It still crashed after spinning that coin for half a second.
Windows Event Manager says I don't have enough Ram (I have 16GB) which should be enough.
I'm at the end of my wits here.
You have to turn off optimization for windowed games in graphics in windows 11 menu !
Here a vid showing how to do it ! ! It doesnt cost to try it for people having crashes

Didn't work for me, unfortunately. I can still only sit in the main menu compiling shaders for like 30 seconds before it crashes. I have a pretty high end build, too.
The game won't even open anymore.
When I loaded into the main menu, I changed the game from Borderless Windowed to Windowed, then back to Borderless Windowed. After that, I changed my Anti-Aliasing mode to Default instead of NVIDIA DLAA. During this time, my shaders finished compiling at some point.
As I'm typing this, my game hasn't crashed since my most recent comment. I really do think it's the shaders that were the culprit, but I could be wrong. You may just have to keep starting the game up again after it crashes so it can slowly make progress on compiling the shaders until it's finished. Super annoying.
I whitelisted it and now it works.
Did you install on same drive as OS? Others reported issues when the game wasnt installed on same drive as Windows.
Could be a cooling issue?
