A patch for The Last of Us Part I is now available. This update includes the following:

Feature Support

Added support for AMD FSR3.1 Super Resolution
Added support for AMD FSR3.1 Frame Generation

General

[Hometown] Fixed rendering issue that could appear on TVs when using NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR
[The University] Fixed issue that could occur when interacting with a generator while enemies were still present
[Bus Depot] Fixed issue where Joel's flashlight would turn on when inspecting certain artifacts despite being in direct sunlight

Accessibility

Fixed Text to Speech issue where "M" key was not being read when assigned to a function

Still getting hammered with 80-90% CPU usage at all times, and now I have to redo the hex tweak to remove the awful forced sharpening again. Yayyy

You can swap the dll if you want.

I don't think devs will bother updating their games to DLSS4. They already support a recent enough version of it anyway.

I just hope they fixed the memory leak issue that is super rare, that only happens if you play game from start to finisch, at the giraffe cutscene after you open the door game crashes but only if from start to finnish if you directly load the level nothing is crashing, it happens 100% of the time.

If mentioned this bug many times and just been called out a liar that their no memory leak issues even tho its very clear its a memory leak behaviour, like mentioned only happens when you start from beginning till the point it crashes opening the door.

You cannot swap the DLL as there isn't one available, in the future you will be able to override any developer DLSS versions via the Nvidia app.

FSR 3.1 is supose to make it so you can enable dlss + FSR3.1 framegen so if it does not work then there was little point in updating.

The DLL is available. It was pulled from the new Cyberpunk patch. You can swap it through DLSS Swapper.

From what I know, it won't give you any difference, as there isn't driver or app support added yet. Only a couple of games have actually released a patch to add the functionality.

Looking at Nvidia developer they haven't even released Streamline SDK for this version.

Disappointing that we still cannot set DLSS and use FSR 3.1 FG in this game. One or the other.

just updated my graphics driver anyway. here go a couple minutes of shader compile with good menu music. :)

i don't need frame gen, really. sry. i'm prone to motion blur sickness. i cannot vsync any additional frames either. i'll not play at 36 to get 72 smear frames to sync. and 72 is too much to get to display rate.

so... yeh... standard driver test it is. pretty sure it'll do just fine. :)

I started the game and has anyone figured out what the patch does? Nothing has changed, ghosting has increased lmao
