Ryzen 2700
7900xtx
32GB RAM
Latest drivers and on latest patch of WIN 10.
Game runs sub par also, but I think thats a separate issue, I should not be getting dips to 30fps when enemies are in the area.
I got 3 ish hours in and now no matter what I do even validating files and doing shader cache again it still crashes after couple mins
Since you are using an AMD graphics card. Do you have SAM enabled? This can lead to crashes in some parts of the game. I got stuck in the graveyard for months because the game always crashed. Then yesterday I read the tip about SAM. I haven't had a crash since then.
Try to disable FSR2/DLSS upscaling. Just play with native. Try to delete the save game and restart new game. hope it helps.
I using 7900xtx with SAM. It worked fine.
Also, careful if you are running 4 sticks of ram, xmp is very tough to maintain on 4 sticks.
This person has same issue with different specs

Maybe it was just that small area before running into Bill but I just played for good ~30 minutes without issue. Will continue playing now and report back if any further crashes happen.
