Have you tried decreasing the value in the motion sickness settings?
Seems to be more prominent when I'm standing still. I will try and lower the motion sickness value as you've suggested to see if that helps. Whats weird is that it only started happening today, and there's not been an update since I last played (that I've noticed).
Can you tell us whether you’re using keyboard and mouse, or a controller? Try disconnecting it while it’s happening to see if the problem goes away.
Hardware has been consistent for the last 12 months. I disconnected the controller and reconnected it and strangely that looks like it might have fixed the issue. Thanks!
It's the same xbox 360 controller I've been using for about 4 years.
Or for whatever reason windows was still reading the controller movement last time you used it and reconnecting it reset that. If it happens again try cleaning it.
If the issue continues, make sure other input sources like mouse or keyboard aren’t sending rogue inputs to the game.
If disconnecting the controller stops the issue, try disabling Steam Input. Right click the game in your Steam library, go to Properties, then Controller settings and select “Disable Steam Input”. Restart the game and check again.
One of these paths will isolate the problem to either the controller, or other input sources.
