Controller feels terrible?
Anyone else get weird response when using a controller?

At first I thought it was on my Xbox Controller so I used a PS4 controller... now using a PS3 controller and all 3 have the same awkward feel?

Panning the camera it feels ok (slightly delayed or a slow ramp), when aiming it's the same but when there's an enemy within your field of view everything just feels off (no it's not the sway or recoil) as if the cursor or in this case controllers dead zone just turns way up for no reason at all or it fights you to actually be on target... as if there's still aim assist still enabled despite it being completely turned off in the menu?

I've seen some other posts about using a mouse and that feeling weird but I personally use the mouse and keyboard when there's more of a fire fight just because of how unresponsive the controller is in this game? At least the mouse doesn't move away or track the enemy in a weird way when aim assist is off...

Surely I'm not the only one. I felt this when I originally played this on PS4/PS5 so it's got to be by design but man it feels dreadful and takes me out of the experience. Though I can't recall ever having this behaviour on PS3 but that was a while ago now lol.

Not an issue lol. I use the dual sense edge controller and it works like a charm. What you're referencing here is the thumb stick dead zones. They changed them on the pc release. Meaning that you need to move the thumb stick more before the character starts walking/when you're panning the camera around.

Try my settings out. I had issues with that as well.

...I know what it is, it's still present in both versions (PS4/PS5 and PC) so I mean it's not perfect lol
