AMD FSR 3.1 Officially Released
Hello Developers. Please add 3.1. 3.0 doesn't work perfectly. There are in-game visual distortions, flickers and ghost effects on the character. :firefly_tlou:

I can't confirm crashes but ghosting. But however it's nvidia/DLSS problem, not the game's fault.

Yes, officially AMD FSR 3.1 has been released. Developers can update the game.
Even though I have more than enough VRAM (16GB at 1440p), I still get a ton more crashing with FSR Frame-Gen enabled. Being able to separate frame-gen from FSR AA/Upscaling would also be a bit boost, let-alone improving the quality of FSR which looks bad even at Native.

In Joel or Elli, I see ghost effects when you turn the camera left and right, and flickering when you turn the camera on a common object on the ground. In the in-game graphics, there are white flickering scratches on the ground. 3.1 has significantly reduced these problems. All they need to do is to bring the 3.1 update to the game

The frame generation related crashes are due to the GPU driver. AMD's 7000 series is overclocked out of the box. You have to manually underclock the GPU to the max rated clock speed that you can find on google. That's how I've been dealing with this in many games on my 7900XTX. Blame the manufacturers for this.

I don't understand how you could have played with 3.1, which has just been officially released, 3 months in advance. 3 months ago, news about 3.1 was being made, so please click on the AMD link in the topic, It was said that it would be released in the second quarter of 2024.

Correction. This game was not updated to 3.1. Just FSR 3.

The last update TLOU received was in April. FSR 3.1 just released this week in the other SONY games.

From AMD [community.amd.com]:

"We are excited to share with you that AMD FSR 3.1 is available starting today in five fantastic games, including Horizon Forbidden West™ Complete Edition and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Additionally, it will soon be supported in God of War Ragnarök."

Looking at steamdb there was a bit of dev activity after the last patch in May, but nothing since. So it seems work on updating the game further has either paused or stopped.

Since this is not a Nixxes ported SONY game. Who knows if SONY or ND will patch the game to FSR 3.1.

Lastly, no need to call someone stupid. Especially when the shoe is now on the other foot.
Launch the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and see for yourself. I'm using FSR 3.1, you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumbass. You can even tell because it stopped crashing when playing with frame gen and the input lag is much better now. The image has also improved a lot. It literally says 3.1 when you turn it on.

Wow, somebody cant read whats written right in front of them. Its says it right there by AMD themselves what games just received FSR 3.1 support. Which isnt TLOU. Because FSR 3.1 literally just released this past Thursday for only 5 games. :steamfacepalm:

"AMD FSR 3.1 is now available in five games, with one more announced as an upcoming title:

Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

Horizon Forbidden West™ Complete Edition

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

COMING SOON: God of War Ragnarök"

Quite hilarious how AMD just released FSR 3.1 for only the 5 listed games. Yet you say TLOU already has FSR 3.1. Lmfao.
