However considering how much the studio screwed this port + the AMD deal, I don’t think Sony will do that again.
The recent horizon forbidden west port is exceptional, I’m expecting the same from ghosts of Tsushima thanks to them being done by Nixxes
Ah I stand corrected, I thought this was a UE4 title, that said, DLSS Frame Generation works as there's a paid mod that clearly shows it working. What is frustrating is that the mod is buggy, it induces a CPU bottleneck and 50% of the time the CPU Utilization Fix checkbox, once you mess with it it crashes the game and you have to sit around for 3 minutes while Windows Error Reporting communicates with the game and vice versa, it's truly frustrating, and to know that Sony / Naughty Dog could easily implement DLSS Frame Generation and save us all the headache and money, I don't think I'm getting the sequel when it comes to PC solely on principle, like this is not acceptable behavior.
Also, the game is ridiculously blurry, I've tried disabling Chromatic Aberration and the blur is still present, is there some kind of baked in TAA ON TOP of the DLSS or FSR3? I don't like it, garbage port.
The most interesting thing is though is that they are using the NVIDIA Streamline SDK to implement the DLSS 2 upscaling portion (judging by the presence of the Streamline DLLs in the installation directory), they could have also implemented DLSS 3 Frame Generation portion as well with a bit of work, but they chose not to.
