That being said, I doubt they would have built the port before releasing the PS5 update, so the November date feels suspect.
i want LAST OF US PART 2 on pc RIGHT NOW !! or next month is fine too :/
There was an article on just that recently released. Not sure why people so upset that exclusives are no longer exclusive. Who cares if the game comes out on another platform years later.

It works out better for the publisher and developer anyway to do this. So in turn, if a game is struggling on one platform and not another. It may help garnish a sequel. So than those who enjoyed the game get to keep enjoying the game. Its a win win.
I mean, these SONY exclusives arent going to get me to buy a PS5 to play them earlier. Thats for sure. Unless the PS5 Pro can do 1440p at solid 60 Hz with no upscaling. Than I may change my mind. Its crazy how bad console gaming still is.
Most PS titles that are now being ported to PC dont even look that much different than their counterpart. But at least they are higher quality, resolution, not a blurry mess, and have way better framerate on PC. So until consoles make a way better leap in performance. Ill patiently wait for a PC release.
Someone said itll be announced at the end of September on the last of us day. So that also makes sense. As itll give time and be ready before the second season of the show.
Its def plausible that they had both PS5 and PC builds ready by than. They just went with PS5 release first. As they would do for exclusivity reasons.
Regardless of that though. This way they have more time to make it better for PC, and hopefully ND/SONY learned their lesson and they didnt go with Iron Galaxy again.
however, I played TLOU 2 alread on PS4, payed 90 bucks like many other TLOU fans for the special edition only to get this...thing. I'm not in a hurry for the pc port unless they make it a directors cut with meaningful changes to the narrative.
But the PC version they are holding back till next year for the TV show???
Logically thinking, they should have hold back both of them.
On the other hand, if they were holding back the release of part 3 then it would be something new, but now it's past tense.
I have nothing against the playstation, but it's just not my thing.
That much is obvious with their most recent and upcoming releases all REQUIRING a PSN account, regardless of whether it's single player or multiplayer.
That is exactly what Sony said, actually.
