I don't think it's a RAM or a CPU temp issue as I have 48GB of RAM and a pretty beefy processor with a good cooler. Never heard of windows page file thing though, whats that?
will do o7
Sure, I have the following:
CPU: Intel i9-13900KS,
AiO: Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT,
MoBo: ROG Maximus Z790 Apex,
RAM: 2 x 24 GB of G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5-8000 CL40,
GPU: Asus DUAL Radeon RX 6600,
PSU: be quiet! Dark Power Pro 13 1600W
Thanks! The RX6600 is the gpu from my old pc that was still relatively new so it felt like a waste to already buy a new graphics card. Rest assured when I do my next upgrade the gpu is top of the list for whats gonna be swapped!
In BIOS, enforce all CPU limits, or in the intel extreme tuning app. Dont boost over 5GHz. Put it back when its done.
This is a good advice. I have downclocked my i7 13700K to 5,1ghz and set power limit to 200w. The last 53 watts are "empty power" You get 15c more heat but gain only 2% of processing power. Slight undervolting also to help to keep temperatures at bay basically without any performance hit.
Rx 6600 too and 16gb ram
