Yes-yes and we're eagerly waiting for it.
Hmm, would think they'd do a "Outbreak Day" release.
which would be Sept. 26th.
Beyond any considerations related to the HBO show, Sony is likely trying to avoid another fiasco with a poorly executed port by allowing plenty of time for testing and ironing out bugs and performance issues. I had somewhat mixed feelings about the story in Part I, but I’m still leaning toward a positive view overall, so if the second game comes out on PC, I’ll definitely give it a try (but I may wait for a discount first).
We can't know their motivation right now but it doesn't matter too much. If they're holding it back to coincide with the show then it has the benefit of giving them time to iron out bugs and optimise the game. Waiting a bit longer for a game is almost always better than it being rushed out, so it's beneficial to us either way!
Tell me, what gave you mixed feelings about Part I's story?
I'll definitely not pay 70 euros and will wait a bit longer for a discount. I liked Part I overall, but found it a bit overhyped.
