Problem with rx 7600 graphic

I just installed an RX7600 graphics card and when i want to play i get an error message about obsolete drivers, i have the latest AMD update 23.12.1 and is tells me to download the driver update 22.40.51, someone do you know why that happens?

Yes. You have a conflict of driver with your older GPU. You will need to clean them out. Windows sometimes does not properly remove older drivers when uninstalling them thru control panel or via device manager. Its stupid I know.

When swapping GPUs its always good to run a display driver removal tool before hand. You can use either DDU which works very well or AMD cleanup utility. I personally use DDU as it works great for both NVIDIA and AMD display driver.
