How to dodge in a TLOU?

Hello. I have repeatedly noticed during close combat that enemies freeze for a moment. I have a logical question. Is it possible to dodge in this game? If yes, how to do it? I play on PC anyway.

There's no button for it, and it's not practical to really attempt by moving around with good timing. The closest thing there is to dodging is when you are running by an enemy who decides to swing at you but misses because you're moving too fast. Which does come in handy sometimes. There was a whole fight with a horde of runners that I got through this way on Grounded way back in the PS3 days.

Uncharted 3 had a dodge button, and legend has it, early versions of TLoU did also, but they found in playtesting that it encouraged players to engage infected hand-to-hand, which is not how any sane person would engage what more or less amounts to a zombie.

In the original, you could dodge during QTE if the fight was FIST. in the remake it was probably even cut out completely, including QTE
