How to shoot pump shotgun?

I recently got the pump shotgun, but am unable to shoot with it. I am aiming with LT but when I press RT like every other weapon nothing happens. Is my game bugged or am I doing it wrong?

Do you have ammunition for it? Maybe upload a short video on youtube where you show us how it behaves?

Just attempted to use it too and am struggling to get it to fire consistently. Using a plugged in PS4 controller. It works fine with all other controls and guns, but only shoots the shotgun *sometimes*, sometimes when im spamming trigger, sometimes when I press it once, I cant tell what makes it shoot.

EDIT: I think its a problem with the controller itself. I think the right trigger is a little finicky since its so old, I noticed if I press down harder than usual, it proceeds to shoot. Was having problems with shooting bow too, It would charge back, but not release the arrow until I pressed down harder. going to see if switching inputs to bumper instead of trigger will solve it.

Probably not too helpful but I play using keyboard and have zero issues. Perhaps the code for the controller has a PC porting issue with the shotgun trigger?
