Considering how poorly it runs for people with good PC's, I would assume it won't run very well on the deck.

Dont listen to the above. 1 person cant run the game on their potato and trolls the TLoU forum relentlessly giving false info whenever they can. The second person does not even own the game.

With that said you are going to get biased answers and misinformation from these types of people. A quick google search shows game running just fine on Steam Deck. Just as long as you dont mind 30-40FPS. With some hiccups below 30 here and there.

From what others are saying the game is running fine now on Steam Deck. Especially after ND patched the game and is now Steam Deck Verified.

Here are the patches made specifically for Steam Deck. Along with some videos showing performance.

v1.0.2.0
v1.0.3.0
v1.0.4.0
v1.1.0 - Steam Deck Verified
v1.1.1

Edit.

You can also use a mod to get FSR 3 FG to work with Steam Deck and TLoU. This person is almost getting 60FPS. Not bad.

I did about a full playthrough on the STEAM DECK OLED without tweaking the settings, In ran pretty good and looked decent, I think It crashed maybe twice during my playthrough.

Although I'm not sure this is due to poor optimization but the game only lasts about 2 and a half hours on the steam deck.

Cheers.

That is correct. I was hoping the game would play longer. I bought the limited edition version of steam deck and it says 3 to 10 hours but I don`t even get 3. The game runs great on my steam deck and it has crashed a few times.

The big draw back is it wants to verify my game every couple of days and it takes almost 10 minutes to go through the verification process.

The PC version works very well, more like your system is trash.

You clearly didn't play it on steam deck. I've tested on 3 decks of my own and on both LCD's and my Oled,
It runs like trash. Somewhat okay 25-60 fps with constantly crackling audio with high pixelation and it's stuck on graphics so ♥♥♥♥, the ps3 version looks better. As a matter of fact it's recommended to play the ps3 version on pcs3 emulator

You clearly didnt watch any of the videos i linked. Which didnt have the issue/s you do.

Also, this thread is very out of date. If you have any issues. Open a new thread and the community will try to help you.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
