Game is not starting Help

When I click play the game loads on steam then doesn't start and I can click play again.

Config : i7 13700k
RTX 4090

Try to open task manager after closing the game and see if there's anything still open regarding TLOU of STEAM.

The game is so bad, even high rig devices can't run it properly. bad game and bad port, bad studios and bad Sony.

The real problem is that we don't know what else people do with their systems or what they have installed and so on. The most complains come from people with high-end hardware. High-end doesn't mean automatically that every game will run well if the user isn't competent enough to use it.

"Competent enough to use it " I didn't know I had to have a degree to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ start the game.. I already tried multiple solutions online and nothing is working, kinda disappointed atm

I know the game looks great, I was excited to try it out on PC, but apparently still a lot of problems with it.

You don't have to have a degree, but there are a million different combinations of components for PC's, so when there is an issue, as a PC user, you need to be able to figure out what is going wrong. Your PC should play this game with no issues, but it's not, so its definitely a you problem. If I had your PC I would be playing the game right now because I know how to trouble shoot any possible issues. It could be something as simple as a driver not loaded properly, but if you don't even know how to check all your drivers, then here you are. There are a ton of what ifs when it comes to PC's.

That's not to say this game is perfect and not without issues as we all know. At least your listed your CPU and GPU. Most people asking for help don't even do that, and then you know right away that they are the problem because how can someone attempt to help you if you don't even list your specs. The top 2 issues that I've seen stop a game from not starting are Audio and Video. Check there to start. Are you able to play other AAA games?

Damn I knew I wouldn't get much help on steam forums but gotdamn asking me about drivers.. maybe I should also try to start the game as an administrator.. I'm not a noob when it comes to pc and I troubleshooted most issues from ram to drivers to Windows settings to nvidia control panel,DDU fresh driver install,to Bios settings..i dont wanna spend 4 hours troubleshooting the game, it should just work. And yes I can play every other AAA games without any issues

From what I can tell its probably a ram issue since the game as problems recognising the ram cache ( i have 24 gb) or it could be another app conflicting with the game but I didn't have any luck finding which one, I dont have much softwares/processes turning in the background

Also a "you problem" when I see the number of problems this game as on pc, I'm not too sure it is a "you problem"

Open folder with game files and right click>run as administrator on exe file

Uninstall the game in steam and Find the left over file in the steam library in folders and delete. reinstall game and disable cloud overlay thing. worked for me

nvm was a temporary fix lol, cant reopen it after closing
