change to laptop? still the same. should be playable. laptop just lowers the resolution. and maybe framerate. depends on the display. i reckon it's a 60 Hz display? the only vsync bump down is 30 fps on the that. shrugs
4Go VRAM is very low and i think you will stutter.
Also keep in mind laptop can't cool like a desktop so your GPU is around -20% perf vs desktop 3050.
the cpu is more important for asset management and rendering setup. it moves data around. and it's got a bit to move with just 4 GB vram. the gpu is just rendering. the higher the resolution the more it's stressed. dlss saves alot for performance.
i'm also comparing to my setup. a 6c/12t cpu and a 3060 with 6GB. running in cool and quiet mode. very "on brand" for amd. 900p with dlss and medium. throttled cpu at ~70% and gpu at ~50%. note: throttled from max turbo it runs consistent. 48 fps locked to vsync correcty to 144 Hz. there are 3050 laptops out there, that could run this spec too and have a 144 Hz panel to run it 48 fps locked. which is the best tradeoff for running it on a laptop like this, imho.
what cpu you got? what section you looking at? and what's the graphics settings? might just tweak the settings until it runs 60 or more. what's wrong with that?
Dell G5 (GTX 1660Ti)
The word 'maybe' does a lot of heavy lifting to justify inaccurate info.
And looking at your other posts, it looks deliberate.
I agree with this comment, A LOT of people will tell you the game is unplayable with 4GB of VRAM but that isn't true anymore not to mention that half the people in these discussions are intent on spreading misinformation or are just ignorant and don't know any better.

Take the money you'd spend on these games, put it in a jar, and use it to build a dedicated gaming PC or buy a PS5 down the road when you have money saved up.
But a lot of negativity is borne from grievance at how they see this game as a 'social justice' boogeyman.
* they'll cite 10y old game, then coo over RE4R
* they'll cite remake vs remaster, when the engine is different while other 'remakes' are on the same platform(PC)
* they'll claim 'muh joel' but George RR Martin's GameOfThrones exists.
I don’t think that’s where most of the complaints are coming from in regards to performance, at least I hope not. It did have severe problems at launch and still could be better in that sense. Part 2 is a great game if you go into it with an open mind and don’t listen to those mouth breathers. It’s 93 on Metacritic for a reason, and I am so sick of these people trying to reduce games to these single syllable words like “woke”, “mid”, etc. Most of the people who complain about part 2 (the ones who haven’t played it but are first to say it’s part of a “woke agenda”) legitimately believe that Abby is a trans because she has muscles and isn’t feminine.
