constant background buzzing?

I'm getting constant audio buzzing when I play the game, is this normal or a bug?

I've never noticed any or seen it posted about, but the latest patch might have changed something.

I doubt it's a feature. Some of the scenes are hauntingly silent. I do play with a special sound, but it's just my cooling fans taking my PC for a flight.

It says in the menu if your hearing popping or buzzing to turn up the audio latency. I put mine on medium.
You have to restart the game for it to take effect.

I know this is old, but i just got the game and had the same issue. I fixed it by disabling the audio enhancements for my headset in the windows sound control panel.
