I remember some of the previous shader compilation times in the past were in excess of 45-55 minutes. May have been more than an hour...
Much better now! The game has honestly ran perfectly for me since day one but my specs are higher than your average bear....not everyone is as stupid as me and spends 7k CAD on a gaming pc....
I'm hoping this latest patch helps those with lower to mid spec systems. Cheers.

Initial shader compilation time was 30-35 minutes with it dropping down to around 20 minutes after the last big patch before this latest one. I haven't played the game since because, honestly, the shader compilation puts me off playing it.
Literally, every time I loaded the game, I would have to wait for shaders to compile because the game had received a major patch or I had updated my graphics drivers. I kid you not when I say that about half my Steam playtime is waiting for these shaders to complete...
