AMD Auto overclock

I had major fps drops etc. I went into amd software & turned off my auto overclock (reset everything) & now I can play smooth on ultra (6750xt)

Its a step that helped me, maybe help someone else out there

having "auto" overclocks in general is a bad idea anyways.

Do you mean standard PBO (boost clock) or something else?

You can set auto in the radeon software, I had that to auto overclock but when I turned it off, my fps drops etc were all gone

Again, having auto overclocks, especially the ones doing in the windows ecosystem and via a software which is mainly made for gpus (the ones for cpus is ryzen master), is never a good idea. So im not surprised to see you're having an actual increase in performances.

I overclocked my Amd Athlon II x4 640 by 5% and before overclocking the maximum was 46° and after 45°
