the game runs fine getting like 90fps 1440p high settings but as soon as enemy are in the area it drops too 25fps and doesnt matter if i drop all settings too low it doesnt go any higher then when i leave the area the fps goes back up is there any fix for that

It's not as drastic on my end, but I see it too. Enough that I've started using the fps counter as an "enemies in the area" indicator. See a sudden, inexplicable drop? Crouch and head for cover - lol.

Do you have 16 or 32 gbs of system memory? Someone in a discussion said my issue was coming from not having enough ram.

16 gb confirmed by now it's not nearly enough for this game, causes big stutters. Game uses 18 to 22 gb of ram, when available. If you have 16 it will use only 14-15, it needs more

Normal - more stuff on screen can cause pfs drop. But on the other note, Is it that bad that it is unplayable? or are you unhappy with your purchase because of that?

Yeah, I know about the overblown requirements. I've seen people complaining about the stuttering and they have 32, sometimes 64 gb. If this game was actually optimized it wouldn't need that much.

I have 64gb DDR5 fixed at 5600 - Are you unhappy with your purchase?

I saw someone posted they are trying to run it with 16gb ram where they have 4090

16GB RAM is the main reason for the fps drops, as Windows have to swap to disk.

I overclocked my cpu to 5.1 ghz and my stuttering issue went away. I still have the 16gb though I do plan to get more.
