I feel like maybe getting the deluxe edition would be best, since it comes with new skins, and perks and stuff AND the Left Behind DLC. It's your choice, and your money.

not really. Being mentioned as a part of the "special pack" in no way suggests it's not part of a standard. Base game being mentioned in the same place should give a hint :)

You always need to look for base game/ignore deluxe pack info completely if you want to know what's in. And the "About the game" says it clearly:

Why on earth would anyone get the Deluxe version when all of its content can be unlocked from just playing the Standard version? The Deluxe version has no exclusive content.
