Nope alsmost worse.
Patch 1.0.2 Worse for performance GPU has 5% more load, uses 500mb more VRAM crashes in same areas. It uses more CPU then Cyberpunk, Watch Dogs legion RT and Red Dead Redemption. But the controls seem better Textures setting still have same effect lowering other setting dont seem to have much of a effect on vram usage.
Nvidia Driver breaks other Games causing artifacts, secular trailing ghosting, odd behavior.

Compare the Graphics & features of TLOU to similar (open world) past games like Days Gone, Uncharted 4, Assassins Creed, Red Dead 2, Watch Dogs Legion, Control, Death Stranding, Gears 5, Jedi Fallen Order, Mafia, Resident Evil etc...
The game looks like Division 1 with linear missins but runs your Hardware like Cyberpunked!

A little better. Still crashes, but not nearly as often. The other problems people were having I never had, so I can't speak to those.

For me personally, it's improved but not drastically. Building shaders still take way too long but has improved from more than 1 hour before to about 45 minutes on GEN 4 NVMe SSD now. I can finally play at Ultra preset and get good fps with AMD FSR 2 set to Quality. It's a step in the right direction but I'm seeing others have it much worse. Some can't even launch the game without crashing. Also, I still can't use Smart Access Memory for whatever reason. It'll destroy my fps throughout the game no matter if lowering resolution and preset.

Could you drop your PC specs here? I'm wondering if certain configurations perform better or worse.

If you don't mind, what are your PC specs? Just wondering if certain PC configs perform better or worse.

Still haven't improved load times for saved games files and new story locations. Started game up this AM, clicked on Continue to load AutoSave from previous session. It took 9 minutes to load save, Also, during Ellie's escape on horseback, I had 4 "Please Wait" loading interruptions? Ruined the whole immersion story line.

Runs great! i'm on my first playthrough now. been playing almost non stop last couple days and I've had 0 crashes and 0 stuttering. Playing on 1440p ultrawide monitor on ultra graphics with about 80-90fps on an rtx3090.

Have fun!

Yeh, Ryzen 9 3900X and RTX 3070Ti. The game now runs well and doesn't crash on my system. This is since the last patch.

50% usage of 3900XT (12C24T) for 60 fps. You can imagine how it will burn 8C16T CPU.

Are we running a cinebench?

Nope. Not really. The mouse stutter is still there. CPU utilization is all over the place. Running on a 5900x w/4090 and 32GB of RAM at 4K.

Coping clown. Upgrade your trash computer.
Game runs perfect for me, not a single crash or any issues.
Ryzen 5 5600
Rx 6650XT
2x8 16gb ram.

I increased virtual memory size to min 800mb, max 16384mb and this fixed all of my problems. Give it a try.

The other way around for me. Hardly crashed initially, after the update I've hardly been able to play because it just crashes after around 20 mins.
