Virus warning

After the update, I tried to launch the game and Norton came up with a virus warning issue. Please be careful guys.

Also, I already updated my driver to the latest drive and still give me this error.

Best guess is the Log.txt file recorded something that Norton is flagging as Personal Information or PII.

Yeah, false-positive. Not sure why anyone would assume a video game would inject a virus lol. Interested to hear if that has ever happened :)

Same except mid-2000s probably. Ended up getting AVG free or something like that. I think Malwarebytes Free is recommended more recently for known infections.

Anti-Virus is really not necessary unless you're downloading sketchy stuff. Pop-up blockers like uBlock Origin will help you avoid fake 'download' links too. I have not had a virus in 10+ years and I just use Windows Security now.

Yeah I used AVG free after I used Norton at that time. Yeah I agree AV software isn't needed if you know what you are doing and not going to sketchy sites.

Norton is #1 best AV on the market picks up all types of viruses even has online protection

The link scanner for AVG was a vampire when it came to RAM usage, it liked 2gb when most people still had 512mb! PC's were slow as molasses with that running in the background.

If you don't surf anywhere you shouldn't and run downloads you're not sure about through VirusTotal, Windows Security ought to be enough.

AVG became a thing when people though Kaspersky was a virus and also because it was from Russia!!

Sounded like a chess player to me! If you bought an off the shelf PC or laptop from any high street retailer in the UK back in day, they would ALL come with Norton pre-installed. It was a pain to uninstall as well. My mate had it on his laptop and he couldn't understand why it was so slow. I uninstalled Norton and it flew. Most paid antivirus is complete bloatware.

1) stop using lolNorton, 2) it's called a false positive. 3) stop being dumb
