Screen space reflections on or off?
I find that with real time reflections i don't need the screen space ones and the game looks loads better without. why did they have them on as default?

only difference is that real time reflections show reflections in the mirrors too other than that i would personally disable it as the ssr still looks great

I have to disagree. turning SSR off and keeping real time reflections makes the game look loads better to me. And you don't get all the negatives of SSR where reflections suddenly disappear when you move the camera.

I don't know about this game, but in other games I turn Screen Space Reflections =On if not using Raytracing reflections. Screen Space Reflections are basically the less demanding version of Raytraced reflections.

I genuinely dislike SSR. it only reflects something that is on screen. as soon as that something goes off screen it disappears :(

Raytracing on the other hand will reflect everything in the scene.

Raytracing is super demanding though so i guess it is a compromise that we all have to suffer for now.

Yeah, raytracing has a long way to go. I can't wait until it is the norm though.
