and are you using the latest hotfix nvidia driver 531.58?
If not download it here
https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5455
You are not running the latest drivers, so you didn't read and for all we know you could be trying to use a HDD to play your games off of.
They released a new driver THIS week on Tuesday.
I'm using AMD RX 7900xtx all maxed out on 1080p, but I don't get crisp and clear hair as the example someone shared.

Whats with all the lines and dots in your SS for shadows and grass. Looks terrible.
Do you have image scaling on in the NVIDIA control Panel? Or thru GE? Id default the settings and see if it looks any better.
Since you on AMD. Do you by chance have super resolution enabled? Another upscaling technique used by the driver. Thats what it looks like to me.
Why are you not on Hotfix Driver 531.58? Released specifically for this game.
Id recommend using DDU and when installing the new driver you do not install GeForce Experience.
Also, see my comment above and make sure image scaling is not on. Which is separate from FSR and DLSS as its done at driver level.
No it's a native 1080p with upscaling off. The pixelation looks worse when moving and Joel is always moving a little bit from the breathing. Other stuff other than character's hair seem fine to me. Haven't tested with a scene with grass.
