I don't actually mind as I'm not the world's biggest fan of splash screens, but it should at least be an option.
Still weird, though. If I were conspiracy-minded, I say that maybe it has to do with the current version of history being pushed by people seems to be "Iron Galaxy had nothing to do with this game! They were just brought in for a little bit of "consulting""
Since Iron Galaxy's company logo is right up there with Sony and Naughty Dogs on that splash screen, that story gets even more ridiculous than it already is. Unless, of course, the way to get your company logo included in a major title is to bring coffee for the "real" dev team, LOL.

This only comes out the first time you run the game, then directly when you open the game it goes to the main menu, in other games like (God of War, Uncharted 4) it will always run them
I like it and more when each game has its own
I've been looking in game options but I don't see anything
PD: Owners of a play5 and the game also see the Opening Animation?
However, you will need to do the first time settings again that come up before it plays.
So it must be a certain parameter the game is looking for. No idea what it would need to be changed to in order to skip the settings and play the intro.
Good luck figuring this out.
Also In case u wanna find them, they are in:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Last of Us Part I\build\pc\main\movie1
The majority of games show the intro every time, but these games only do it on the first boot. And it’s very frustrating because there is no way to change it, and also it’s not technically a bug so you can’t report it.
