Good thing you mention RDR 2, because I can run that game 4K maxed out and I cannot do this with this game. But to be fair in my eyes this game looks a little better than rdr 2.
If the whole world of rdr 2 looked like TLOU it would be absolutely gorgeous.
Just look at the water reflections, and the rain, the lighting . I don’t think reflections, rain are as good or the world is as detailed as in TLOU remake. Plus you cannot swim underwater in RDR 2 which is a bummer.
I have to disagree, graphically this game looks a little better overall than rdr 2. It’s just that one is a whole open world while the other is linear confined setting.
But….I wish rdr looked as good and was a detailed in the whole world as this game is…..
Don’t get me wrong….rdr is good looking…I just think TLOU looks a little better on 4K max settings.
I’m not comparing the games, or gameplay specifically, just the graphics.
Have a look for yourself. I think TLOU remake looks better graphically. But again
We have to take into consideration that they’re years apart in release, and that one is a huge open world and the other isn’t.
Give me RDR 2 with TLOU remake graphics, but optimized of course. Will take that any day.
Physics are better in RDR2 and obviously performance/optimisation is another one for RDR2.
One a is video game the other is walking like a an old crab simulator make by a bad doggie.
to bad its not gotten a part 2
Overall RDR 2 is a fantastic game. Like you, I just think that TLOU remake has a bit of an edge graphically.
Imagine RDR 2 with TLOU graphics and it’s a 20/10
Yup days gone part 2 would be great..the ending in part 1 left me wanting more. Not enough story in part 1…..in my opinion it ended too soon + they could have added more areas/maps to play in….
That’s where I think something horizon zero Dawn has the edge with the variety of landscapes. RDR too also is pretty good in providing a variety of different sceneries.
My only gripes really with Days Gone. Hopefully Sony will change their minds and have Guérilla develop a part 2.
Yeah problem is that Story is slow and boring at the beginning and later on picks up, and by the time it finally picks up the game is over. Sure there’s replay value here, but the story makes you long for a part 2. I now understand why players who enjoyed the game want to see a part 2, as the story doesn’t feel like it was completely over and the ending leaves a lot to be desired.
