3080 ti isn't enough apparently to developers
Am i the only one that have micro stuttering and a huge drop in different areas from 120- to 60-70 overall i don't feel the game is smooth at all is it my hardware?
Rtx 3080 ti ftw
R 5 9500x
Ram 32 3600hz

I did read but I'm really confused most of the latest games runs like trash except RE4R which has some rare micro stuttering there and there but it was great overall

optimization is not very high on the devs priority list these days

Pretty sure the Dig foundry vid touched on this and its cos of CPU load when entering new area. If you hang around long enough performance and fps increases.

Do you cap your fps (E.g. 60fps)? It's always a good idea, whatever games you play, to cap it to smoother all management previously done in game loop. If I simplify a lot: INPUT->CPU TIME-> GPU TIME -> smoothed thanks to vsync ->DISPLAY.

Nah cos G Sync

nope. they expect pc players to run this 10 year old game with an rtx 4090 or a nasa computer possibly. basically sell your house and prostitute yourself in order to afford the perfect nasa computer to run this once again (10 year old game)

I got the 3080ti as well and the microstuttering is present but you can fix that or at least heavily reduce it.
1. Set everything on high ingame and fiddle around with your favourite settings. For my part, I don't like the exaggerated reflections (-> off) but I got characters on ultra. Always reload the map before you try. Try to stay in the 80% range of your VRAM.

2. Set up your Nvidia settings for that game like this (deviating from default):
- NO image scaling
- Low latency Ultra
- Max frame to 60 (!)
- Power management ->max
- Vsync ON (off ingame)

edit: oh yeah absolutely no Gsync, best to set your monitor to 60 as well.

Gsync? ok, fair enough...
It seems Devs intensively work on hotfix and update so It's pretty sure they really want to do a success with this game. That's great and I'm confident it will be far better with time.
As only a little more than 17% of Steam Users, according February Steam Survey, have VRAM superior at 8GB, they need also to change VRAM management and/or upgrade medium textures, if they want more gamers enjoying it...

I got zero stuttering in buildings and only very little outdoors when heavy texture loads are needed (for environment and fire effects at same time, etc.)

Dude, it took me about 30 minutes and now it runs as well as any other game. It's not optimized but absolutely playable. Basically all the ports had similar issues within the first months (RDR2, Horizon, GOW, Spiderman, etc.)

I have the same on my RTX 3060ti and for me the best was to change the fps cap to 60 fps (of course if you do not mind playing in this value).

With the latest Patch and graphics Driver the Game runs fine for me.

~85fps at 3440x1440 high Settings+ DLSS on
RTX 3070ti, Ryzen 5700x@4,7ghz, 32gb RAM.

Nvidia released a hotfix driver to solve issue's specific to the RTX3000 series cards and this game, have you tried that?
