Try to reinstall the library.
c0000005 is an access violation error. It means the game is looking for something where it should not.
First guess is that you ran out of memory.
How much RAM and VRAM do you have?
What graphics settings are you playing on? Low? Medium? High? Ultra?
maybe you have a rare bug which is tied to the state of that checkpoint
I can try to use an old save, but it would take me some time to get back to my current progression of the game :/
Didn't have any bug so far but it constantly crashes at this place. 3 times in a row already.
AMD 5950x
128GB ram
RTX 4080
Edit : 5th crash. It happens everytime. If I go down the stairs quickly I can continue the game but if I go back on those stairs and face the fountain it instantly crashs every time

What I tried and didn't solve the issue:
- Install NVIDIA fix driver
- Verify game cache
- Reinstall shaders
- chkdsk my disks
What fixed it was going into the chapter list, and redoing it all from the beginning of the chapter. Changed my graphic settings to the lowest. I also fired some rounds and crafted random stuff so that I wasn't full of anything in the inventory (in case the bug was from spawning resources when I already am full of it). Then it was okay...
I don't know what really solved it from all my actions, but if someone gets the same crash, try this method.
7950X3D
64GB DDR5 6000
4090
latest nVidia & AMD drivers
game version is 1.0.5.0
No solution so far.
As another user pointed out, you had a memory access error, which usually means the game or app is trying to find an asset, file or resource that was loaded onto the RAM/page file but was removed to make room for another file.
The game can still make due with some better memory management. But you should also make sure that you have an appropriate page file set. In most instances, 3 to 8GB is fine (Windows will often default with 3 to 7GB page file) but when memory calls are more frequent, sometimes you need an extra level of page file to just help make sure nothing gets culled from cache and memory.
