Also, I don't know what engine TLOU is using, but if it's new to PC, that's also a factor in how fast people can start modding the game. With the RE4 remake, the RE Engine has been used for a while so there are more people who have prior knowledge and who are able to quickly make mods
Resident evil for example has already lot of mods from RE2 remake and RE3 remake and routines that are easy to port on RE4 remake, that's why there are many mods already available.
TLOU is getting patched every week and it can sometimes break mods, and the game engine is new as it's naughty dog exclusive and not unreal or other common engines.
It will take some time, but i'm pretty sure lots of mods will be available in the next months.
I heard some saying on sony getting in the way of some modders, with some pateron's being taken down but I'm not close to the situation/dont follow.
I despise the gate-keeping culture around modding, and this is by far the worst example of it. AND LOCKING EVERYTHING TO DISCORD, WHICH HAS SERVER LIMITS EVEN ON NITRO IS NOT AN ANSWER!.
Plus most people will play the game once or twice but then move onto something else.
